Solar Installation

Central Coast Energy was proud to design and install this 27kW commercial solar system for the NSW Rural Fire Brigade station at Kariong, helping one of the Central Coast's most vital community services reduce their operating costs and embrace clean energy.

The system features 88 Trina 310W panels paired with a powerful SMA 25kW inverter, a robust, commercial-grade combination built to deliver reliable, high-output solar generation day after day, year after year. SMA inverters are renowned worldwide for their durability and efficiency in commercial applications, making them an ideal choice for a facility that needs dependable performance without fuss.

A fire station has unique energy demands, from powering communication systems and emergency lighting to keeping equipment charged and the building operational around the clock. A 27kW system of this scale generates substantial daytime energy to offset those ongoing running costs, freeing up more of the brigade's budget for the things that matter most: keeping the community safe.

This installation also demonstrates the growing trend of community and government organisations across the Central Coast investing in solar to lower overheads and reduce their environmental footprint. With rising electricity prices putting pressure on public service budgets, solar is one of the most practical and impactful steps any facility can take.
